OnePoint’s Location in Miramar, Fla., to Provide Local Medication Dispensing, Same-Day Delivery, Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Services and In-Patient Unit Support to Treasure Coast Hospice
CHICAGO, IL and STUART, FL—(Marketwired – May 26, 2015) OnePoint Patient Care, a national hospice pharmacy services provider, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Stuart, Fla.-based Treasure Coast Hospice to serve all its pharmacy-related needs for its 3,000 annual patients in Martin and St. Lucie counties.
“Working with OnePoint Patient care has been an exercise in true partnership from the minute we began interacting, and the way they helped us transition in a very condensed timeframe is a great example of their partnering spirit,” said Susan De Cuba, CEO of Treasure Coast Hospice. “OnePoint is not a vendor, they are a true partner, equally aligned with us in delivering exceptional care to our patients.”
Due to unforeseen circumstances Treasure Coast needed to implement its switch to OnePoint in two weeks, rather than the 90 days that is typical. OnePoint’s seasoned transition team worked side by side with Treasure Coast Hospice’s transition team to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
“We understand that changing pharmacy providers is a challenging exercise for our hospice partners,” said OnePoint Patient Care CEO, Jeff Hohl. “Our designated transition team works closely with our hospice partners to ensure that the process is as easy and seamless as possible. Despite the condensed transition period we had for Treasure Coast, we were able to accommodate their needs with complete success. This, to us, is what partnership is all about. We aim to completely support our hospice partners in a manner that is most effective for their needs.”
