OnePoint’s Denver Pharmacy Location to Provide Local Medication Dispensing, Same-Day Delivery and Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Services to HopeWest
DENVER, CO. and GRAND JUNCTION, CO. — (Marketwired – December 1, 2015) – OnePoint Patient Care, a national hospice pharmacy services provider, announced today that it has reached an agreement with HopeWest in Western Colorado to serve all the pharmacy-related needs of HopeWest’s hospice patients in Mesa, Delta, Montrose and Ouray Counties. Under the agreement, OnePoint will provide efficient and accurate medication dispensing, next-day delivery, clinical support and Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) services customized to HopeWest’s needs.
“We were looking for an adaptable hospice pharmacy services partner that offers pharmacy benefit management and dispensing services focused on quality, accuracy and customer service, and one that would adapt with us as we evolve and the hospice industry evolves,” said Terri Walter, Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President of HopeWest. “We have found that relationship with OnePoint Patient Care, and we look forward to the ways our partnership will benefit our patients and their families.”
OnePoint opened Colorado’s first hospice-focused pharmacy in Denver in July, filling a strong need in the Colorado market for a single source of local medication delivery and PBM services that ensure accurate, efficient medication dispensing combined with customized formulary management.
“Recent industry consolidation and changes in CMS billing procedures are just the latest changes in the hospice field that make having strong, collaborative relationships more important than ever. We have worked hard to develop pharmacy services for hospices that streamline previously complex processes, ensure accurate dispensing, and provide cost efficiencies – all while keeping our relationships and superior service front and center,” said OnePoint Patient Care CEO Jeffrey Hohl. “We are proud to offer a superior level of service and clinical support to our hospice partners that is unmatched in the industry, and we look forward to sharing these benefits with our newest partner, HopeWest.”
