What is your role with OnePoint Patient Care?

I am OnePoint’s Controller.

How did you come to work in Hospice specifically?

I have always been drawn to helping people and thought that the healthcare industry would be a great way to indirectly impact the world.

What do you like most about working at OPPC?

It is a healthy working environment. The people I work with and for are honest and positive.

What has been your favorite or proudest professional moment with OPPC?

Leading the 2022 budget process was a great professional moment for me. I was able to work with the executive team to come up with our 2022 budget from the bottom up.

Do you have any advice for someone considering a career in finance?

Finance is not just about numbers and math. It requires a great deal of critical thinking and understanding of the business and the industry you are in.

How would you describe your leadership style?

Leading by example and always being open and transparent about issues and concerns. Additionally, giving praise publicly and giving feedback and criticism in private.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love Pilates and hiking in nature.
